The second ODI between India vs England was interrupted due to a faulty floodlight at the Barabati Stadium on Sunday. The Men in Blue were batting as they looked to chase down 305 runs, skipper Rohit Sharma looked in good touch as he was scoring at a quick rate.
As the first ball was bowled in the sixth over, the players decided to walk off the field due to a faulty floodlight which would have been frustrating for the Indian opening pair, who looked to continue the chase with their strong start.
The Indian skipper started off in blistering fashion, scoring 29 off 18 balls when the play was interrupted. However, after around 20 minutes, the floodlights were back on again and play resumed. Rohit went on to score a half-century while Gill looked to take a steady approach as the two eyed a century-run stand.
