India vs Australia, Adelaide Oval Weather Prediction: The Border-Gavaskar Trophy resumes with the second Test between India and Australia set to be held at the Adelaide Oval. India have a 1-0 lead in the five-match series thanks to their 295-run win in Perth last month which would’ve boosted their confidence given the eventful buildup to the highly anticipated tour that saw them suffer a historic Test series whitewash at home. In the absence of captain Rohit Sharma, out for personal reason, Jasprit Bumrah stepped up to lead the side and the tourists overcame a first innings batting collapse to outclass their hosts inside four days.
Between the first and the start of the second Test, India have taken part several training sessions and in between also played a day-night practice match with a Prime Minister’s XI which they won. There’s plenty of focus on this particular fixture since the last time India played a Test in Adelaide, it saw them being shot out for a record low of 36 runs in second innings – their lowest ever total in the format. With Rohit Sharma back at the helm of affairs and with the confidence of Perth win, India will aim to wash away the bitter memories of Adelaide Oval as they target a 2-0 lead.

Adelaide Weather Forecast From December 6 to December 10
There’s forecast of afternoon showers on December 6 with the temperature hovering between 29°C and 21°C. Day 2, Day 3 and Day 4 are expected to be rain-free. Morning showers are predicted for the fifth day (December 10).
Adelaide Pitch Report
The Adelaide Oval pitch curator Damian Hough says they are leaving some grass on the pitch which he feels should bring spinners into play. Hough also said the surface has been prepared so as to ensure an even battle between the bat and the ball.
