Heinrich Klaasen gave fans a peek into the lighter side of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team, sharing some amusing dressing-room secrets during a candid interaction with the franchise. The South African wicketkeeper-batter didn’t hold back while poking fun at his teammates, with Ishan Kishan emerging as the central figure of his playful comments. Kishan, who joined SRH in the IPL 2025 auction for ₹11.25 crore after being released by Mumbai Indians, was singled out for always being in front of the mirror. When asked who in the squad was the mirror magnet, Klaasen responded with a laugh: “Doing a couple of shoots with him, I would say Ishan (Kishan).” He went on to explain that the left-handed batter is extremely particular about his appearance. “Ishan really needs to get his hair perfectly to be happy,” Klaasen remarked, adding that Kishan’s obsession with grooming stands out in the squad. However, Klaasen didn’t let Kishan take the entire spotlight, pointing out that Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa is also right up there when it comes to hairstyles. Referring to Zampa’s exciting hairstyles over the years, he joked that the spinner probably is the “haircut enthusiast”.

Without hesitation, he named the 27-year-old. “We did a shoot and he was unbelievable,” Klaasen recalled, praising Kishan’s ability to perform in front of the camera. The banter didn’t stop there. Klaasen also aimed a cheeky dig at his captain, Pat Cummins. “His acting is just OK. But there are low budget movies, so we give it to him,” he quipped, leaving fans with a glimpse of the light-hearted atmosphere within the SRH unit.
