Arundhati breached Ellyse Perry’s defence and shattered her stumps on the second ball of the 15th over of Australia’s innings in the ongoing match against India.

Star pacer Arundhati Reddy is on fire for India against Australia on Wednesday (December 11). The 27-year-old cricketer has picked up four wickets for just 18 runs in eight overs so far for the Women in Blue in the ongoing third ODI against the Tahila McGrath-led side. Reddy opened her account in the ongoing match at WACA Ground in Perth by taking two wickets in one over. She first clean bowled last match centurion Georgia Voll for 26 runs from 30 balls and then removed Phoebe Litchfield.
Litchfield was caught behind by wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh. After taking two wickets in her second over of the match, Reddy bowled a magical delivery on the second ball of her fourth over to get the better of Ellyse Perry. Like Woll, Perry also scored a century for the Southern Stars in the second ODI played on Sunday, November 8, at Allan Border Field in Brisbane. But in the final match of the series, she could only manage to score 4 runs from 14 balls.
Perry was clean bowled by Reddy, and after taking her third wicket of the match, she celebrated in style with her Indian teammates.

Perry was the third Aussie batter to get out in the match. After her dismissal, Reddy got rid of Beth Mooney on the first ball of her fifth over. Mooney, who is playing as wicketkeeper for Australia in the ongoing series, was caught behind by Richa after making 10 runs from 14 balls.
After the Aussies lost four batters for 78 runs in 16.1 overs, Annabel Sutherland joined hands with Ashleigh Gardner to revive the hosts innings. At the end of 33 overs, the Aussies managed to reach a total of 172 runs for the loss of four wickets. Gardner is batting on 49 runs from 59 balls, and Sutherland has hammered 43 runs from 49 balls played so far. The duo has so far added 94 runs from 101 balls for the fifth wicket.
India is looking to secure a consolation win in the ongoing third ODI against Australia after losing the first two matches by 5 wickets and 122 runs.
