Australia have joined India and New Zealand as the semi-finalist for the 2025 Champions Trophy after their match against Afghanistan was washed out.

Australia became the third team to secure qualification to the 2025 Champions Trophy semi-final after their match against Afghanistan at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, was abandoned due to rain and the ensuing wet outfield on Friday. India and New Zealand have qualified from Group A and now, Saturday’s match between South Africa and England will decide who between the Proteas and the Afghans go ahead from Group B.
