Ahead of the start of the three-match ODI series between Australia and Pakistan, here’s a look at top performers and record holders in 108 matches played so far between the two teams.

Pakistan’s men’s cricket team has landed in Australia to take part in a three-match ODI series, and then the two teams will face each other in three T20Is as well. The first ODI is scheduled to take place at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Monday (November 4), and the next two matches will be played on Friday (November 8) and Sunday (November 10) in Adelaide and Perth, respectively. Pakistan last played an ODI match in November 2023, and in the upcoming series against Australia, wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan will lead the Men in Green. Rizwan was appointed as Pakistan’s new white-ball captain last month, and before departing for Australia, he expressed confidence in his team’s abilities to win the series Down Under.
Despite Rizwan’s tall claims, it won’t be an easy task for the 1992 ODI World Cup winners to win a series in Australia. They have a poor track record in Australia. In 56 ODIs played so far, they have managed to win only 17.

- Highest total: 369 for 7 in 50 overs by Australia in Adelaide on January 26, 2017.
