BCCI Gives Green Light To Telangana Premier League

HCA President Arshanapalli Jagan Mohan Rao announced BCCI’s approval for the Telangana Premier League. Goa’s Rohan Desai was elected Joint Secretary.

Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) President Arshanapalli Jagan Mohan Rao has said that the BCCI has given the green signal for organizing the Telangana Premier League (TPL).

Goa Cricket Association member Rohan Desai was elected as new Joint Secretary in the election held at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai on Saturday. Jagan Mohan Rao participated in this election as the HCA representative and supported Rohan’s candidature.

After this election, Jagan Mohan Rao, HCA Vice President Daljeet Singh, and Councilor Sunil Agarwal met BCCI President Roger Binny, Secretary Devajit Saikia, Treasurer Prabhtej Singh Bhatia and Joint Secretary Rohan.

Jagan Mohan Rao requested BCCI to cooperate in resuming the Moinuddaula Gold Cup, which is famous cricket tournament in Telangana, along with TPL. BCCI formally accepted the Jagan Mohan Rao request. Jagan Mohan Rao said that the BCCI has given permission to conduct the TPL in June after the conclusion of the IPL.

Jagan Mohan Rao’s requested the BCCI to support in the development of cricket infrastructure in the state also. BCCI board members replied postively for his requests.
