Ben Duckett became the first batter in Champions Trophy history to hit 150, achieving this in England’s 2025 opener against Australia. He surpassed Nathan Astle’s previous record of 145*.

England opener Ben Duckett on Saturday became the first batter in Champions Trophy history to hit a 150 as he went past that milestone in his team’s opening match of the 2025 edition against Australia. He reached the milestone off just 132 balls, helping England go past 300 despite wickets falling from the other end.

The previous best score in the tournament was New Zealand batter Nathan Astle’s 145* against the USA at the Oval in 2004.
