India’s squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and England series announcement Live updates: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selection committee, headed by Ajit Agarkar, will meet in Mumbai this weekend to pick India’s provisional 15-member squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which is set to start on February 19.
In the ICC event, which is making a comeback after eight years, all the senior Indian players, if fit, are likely to take part.
Along with the Champions Trophy squad, the BCCI selectors are all set to announce India’s T20I and ODI squad for the upcoming bilateral series at home against England. India will face England in a five-match T20I series that starts on January 22 in Kolkata, and the three ODIs are scheduled to take place on February 6, 9, and 12 in Nagpur, Cuttack, and Ahmedabad, respectively.
It has been reported that Indian players who participated in the recently concluded five-match Test series against Australia are likely to be rested for the shortest format series, but the ODI squad will feature the majority of the players that are set to take part in the Champions Trophy 2025.
