The Indian men’s cricket team will face Australia in the first semifinal of the Champions Trophy 2025 on Tuesday (March 4) in Dubai, whereas New Zealand will face South Africa in the second semifinal match at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Wednesday (March 5). India booked its place in the match against Australia after getting the better of the Black Caps by 44 runs in the last Group A match of the Champions Trophy 2025 played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Team India has won two out of four Champions Trophy matches played so far against the Australian team, and the Rohit Sharma-led side will be eager to get the better of Australia once again on Tuesday and book a place in the final for the third Champions Trophy edition in a row.
If India beat Australia and qualifies for the final, then the summit clash will be played against the winner of the second semifinal on Sunday (March 9) in Dubai. If Australia defeat India, then the match will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
