Where CSK Finished In IPL 2024

CSK nearly made it to the playoffs last season but were stunned by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). In the final league match against the Faf du Plessis-led side, left-arm quick Yash Dayal defended 35 runs off the final six balls despite being hit for a huge six by Dhoni. CSK needed 17 runs to qualify, but Dayal denied them the spot. RCB won the contest by 27 runs and qualified for the playoffs. CSK were knocked out, finishing fifth on the points table.
