Mohammed Shami made his long-awaited comeback to competitive cricket for Bengal on Wednesday (November 13) and picked up four wickets for 54 runs. The 34-year-old right-arm pacer, who was out of action since the ODI World Cup 2023 final, which was played on November 19, 2023, in Ahmedabad, bowled 19 overs in the first inning of the ongoing Ranji Trophy Elite Group C match against Madhya Pradesh in Indore.
He looked in great touch and made life difficult for MP batters in the morning session of the second day’s play. After making headlines for his super comeback, Shami took to Instagram to share a post in which he thanked his fans.
