IShowSpeed asked Paul Pogba if he had ever heard of Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli enjoys a crazy fan following. And, it is not restricted to just India. The point was once again proven when World Cup-winning footballer Paul Pogba sent greetings to the Indian cricketer on his 36th birthday on Tuesday, November 5. The French midfielder appeared on the live stream of popular YouTuber IShowSpeed, who is recognised as a big fan of Kohli. Some of his followers reminded Speed of his idol’s birthday when Pogba was also there.
Speed immediately opened the browser and searched for the name of Kohli. He asked Pogba if he had ever heard of the Indian batter. Speed didn’t wait for his reply and went on to say, “Virat, happy birthday my boy. He’s a legend, he is literally the best cricket player in the entire world.”
Pogba reacted smilingly and wished, “Happy birthday bro. Long life.” The moment was loved by many cricket enthusiasts and the video created much buzz across social media. After the footage surfaced on the internet, many users branded Speed as the “biggest fan of Virat Kohli.”
The veteran Indian batter is currently gearing up for the Border Gavaskar Trophy. The five-match Test series against Australia is slated to begin on November 22. It will be a crucial assignment for Kohli, who has not been at his best in the Test format over the past few years.
Kohli was part of the recent home series where India suffered a 3-0 whitewash at the hands of New Zealand. Despite being one of the senior batters of the team, Kohli managed only 93 runs across the six innings. He hopes to regain his form in the upcoming Test series in Australia and help India reach the next World Test Championship (WTC) final.

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba has been out of action since September last year when he was suspended for doping allegations. He was initially handed a four-year ban but the tenure was later reduced to 18 months. His current contract with Serie A side Juventus will expire in 2026. The club may consider terminating his contract early and releasing Pogba as a free agent before the next season.
