Former South African cricketer Gary Kirsten, who served as India’s head coach from 2007 to 2011 and was appointed as Pakistan’s white-ball head coach in April 2024, has resigned.
According to a report in ESPNCricinfo on Monday (October 28), rifts were created between Kirsten and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) since the board decided to strip him and Test head coach Jason Gillespie off selection powers. Kirsten was understood to be disappointed with the developments.
