Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir reportedly blames youngster Sarfaraz Khan for leaking the information from the Indian dressing room during the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Khan didn’t play a single Test in the series, despite scoring a 150 in the previous series — the home white-wash against New Zealand.

According to News24 Sports, Gambhir made the accusation in the BCCI’s review meeting of the Australia tour in Mumbai. He said Khan leaked the bit about the head coach’s angry speech to the team after India’s big defeat in the fourth Test of the series at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
