Gujarat Titans Vs Punjab Kings IPL Match Today: The Gujarat Titans (GT) will begin their IPL 2025 campaign against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 25.
The 2022 winners finished the previous edition in eighth place. With Hardik Pandya leaving for the Mumbai Indians last year, Shubman Gill was appointed the squad’s captain.
Under his leadership, the two-time finalists secured five wins and two draws in 14 games. This year Shubman will hope to lead his team to the playoffs and a victory on Tuesday will steer them in the right direction.
The PBKS had a similar run in the IPL last year with five wins and nine losses in 14 games. They finished in ninth place and will hope to better their result this season.
PBKS made some big moves in the mega-auction to sign 2024’s IPL-winning captain Shreyas Iyer. It will be exciting to see if they can make the tournament’s final for the first time since 2014.

Ahmedabad Pitch and Weather Forecast
The pitch at the Narendra Modi Stadium is widely considered to be a batter’s paradise. The five-layered soil at this venue ensures there is a consistent bounce, making it easy for batters to strike the ball in any direction. Spinners, however, tend to struggle in Ahmedabad’s playing conditions.
The skies in Ahmedabad will be generally clear on March 25. The temperatures range from 39 degrees Celsius during the day to 23 degrees at night. Winds should not be blowing at speeds higher than 8 km/h. The humidity levels, whereas, will hover anywhere from 23 percent to 32 percent.
