Delhi Capitals skipper Axar Patel was seen in a hilarious exchange with the IPL robot-dog during the side’s training session at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Patel was seen prompting the robot in Gujarati in a jovial bit of interaction ahead of the side’s travel to Lucknow for their clash against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Stadium on Tuesday.
Patel waved hello to the automaton before going on to ask, ‘Why are you scaring me?’ as the android went on to demonstrate some of its gimmicks.
‘Man, what is this?’ Patel went on to exclaim in surprise. Patel pulled up teammate Sameer Rizvi and proceeded to convey to the batter that it is from Japan.
‘Wave hello to him,” Patel said, before asking the robot if it understood Gujarati.
