Happy Birthday KL Rahul: One of India’s leading all-format batters, KL Rahul turned 33 today on April 18. The tall, elegant right-hand batter is known for keeping his wicket in a crisis. Rahul can also quickly switch gears to rack up runs at a staggering pace when needed. The dynamic batter has previously represented some of IPL’s best teams including Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants.

132 not out vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru, 2020
Five years ago, KL Rahul became the Indian with the highest individual score in the IPL. Representing the Punjab Kings, he smashed an unbeaten 132 at the Dubai International Stadium to lead his team to a massive 97-run victory. The wicketkeeper-batter slammed 14 fours and seven sixes in that fixture.
103 not out vs Mumbai Indians, 2022
KL Rahul went into full beast mode against a Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians on April 16, 2022. Competing at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, Rahul scored a 60-ball 103 in a Lucknow Super Giants shirt. He smashed nine fours and five sixes which earned him the Player of the Match award while securing an 18-run win for LSG.

Only eight days after his hundred, KL Rahul scored his second successive century against the Mumbai Indians on April 24, 2022. He remained not out while adding 103 runs for the Lucknow Super Giants in 62 deliveries. Rahul smashed 12 fours and four sixes to win the Player of the Match award again.
100 not out vs Mumbai Indians, 2019
KL Rahul scored his first IPL century against the Mumbai Indians six years ago at the Wankhede Stadium. Smashing six fours and six maximums, the wicketkeeper batter finished his innings at 100 in 64 balls. His powerful knock was eventually overshadowed by Kieron Pollard who came in clutch for MI, helping them secure a narrow three-wicket win.
93 not out vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru, 2025
One of KL Rahul’s best IPL knocks came this season for his new team, Delhi Capitals. The wicketkeeper-batter showcased his technical qualities at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Rahul scored a 53-ball 92, scoring seven fours and six maximums. He even made two catches in the game to help his franchise win by six wickets.
