Making her comeback after a knee injury, Harmanpreet also contributed with the bat, scoring a quickfire 34 off 23 balls. Her return added firepower to India’s already formidable line-up. Smriti Mandhana led the charge with a sublime 91, laced with 13 boundaries, narrowly missing out on a century. Debutant Pratika Rawal impressed with 40, while Harleen Deol and Jemimah Rodrigues chipped in with 44 and 31 runs, respectively, powering India to a daunting 315.
West Indies’ Zaida James stood out with a five-wicket haul but couldn’t stem the flow of runs.
