KKR were the first side to qualify for the playoffs and ended the league stage as the table toppers with 9 wins and 20 points. A phenomenal season also saw several youngsters coming to the fore and contributing to the winning cause. Interestingly, a few of them went a notch ahead in their careers and shone at a bigger stage.

Let’s have a look at the rising talents from Kolkata Knight Riders’ batch of 2024.

Harshit Rana: From getting banned to coming out with flying colours, Harshit Rana was a player to watch out for in IPL 2024. With 19 wickets in 13 games, the right-arm quick ended the season as KKR’s second-highest wicket-taker for KKR after Varun Chakravarthy. Finally, he made his international debut in the first Border-Gavaskar Trophy match in Perth.

Ramandeep Singh: The Punjab All-rounder was one of the finds of KKR, scoring 125 runs in 15 matches at a staggering strike rate of 201. Also, his lightning-fast fieldwork grabbed all the eyes. Following a great IPL season, Ramandeep was picked in India’s squad for the Emerging Asia Cup before making his international T20I debut in South Africa.

Angkrish Raghuvashi: The Mumbai batter hogged the limelight by striking a half-century on his IPL debut against Delhi Capitals. He came fresh from India’s campaign at the Under-19 World Cup and shone in no time. He scored 163 runs in 10 matches, striking at 155.63 and averaging 23.28.
