Delhi Capitals will finish in the top four and qualify for the playoffs if they beat Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians in their remaining three league matches.

Delhi Capitals faced Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 55th league match of IPL 2025 on Monday, May 5, in Hyderabad but had to settle for one point after rain played spoilsport during the second half. As a result of one point, DC remained fifth in the IPL 2025 points table with 13 points to credit after 11 matches.
Delhi Capitals will finish in the top four and qualify for the IPL 2025 playoffs if they win their remaining three league matches.
If DC lose one of their upcoming four matches, then they have to hope that not more than three teams finish with more than 17 points. In that case as well, DC will advance to the playoffs.
If DC lose two of their remaining matches and the Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans win one more game, then DC will get knocked out, and if DC lose all of their remaining matches, then there is no chance that they will finish in the top four, as already four teams – RCB, Punjab Kings, MI and GT – have secured 14 points.
Delhi’s upcoming matches
Delhi Capitals will face Punjab Kings in their 12th league match of IPL 2025 on Thursday, May 8 at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. The Axar Patel-led side will then take on Gujarat Titans at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday, May 11. DC’s final league match is against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday, May 15.
