Virat Kohli was batting on 17 runs from 68 balls when he once again tried to play a shot on the ball that was bowled outside the off stump line, and like the last six occasions, on Friday (January 3), once again he was caught in the slips. Kohli, who is India’s fourth-leading run scorer in Test cricket, has been dismissed seven times in the ongoing series between India and Australia, and on all seven occasions he has been dismissed in a similar way.

India had high hopes from Kohli in the ongoing Test match at Sydney Cricket Ground, and the 36-year-old right-handed batter looked good as well during his 69-ball stay at the crease, but once again he failed to stop himself from touching the ball outside the off-stump and gifting his wicket.
