Team India managed to pick up their first win of the Womens T20 World Cup as they beat Pakistan by 6 wickets in what was a low-scoring affair in Dubai on Sunday. The Indian bowlers were on top form as they dominated throughout the first innings to restrict Pakistan to just 105/8. When it came to the second innings, the chase was a slow affair as the Indian batters struggled to tee off with boundaries for most of the game. The Pakistan skipper, Fatima Sana gave India a scare as she picked up back-to-back wickets in the 16th over. Opener Shafali Verma remained the top scorer with 32 runs. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored 29 off 24 before she retired hurt. India went past the target with seven balls remaining.
