As the wait continues regarding India’s final squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025, the Indian selectors have a massive call to take regarding Jasprit Bumrah and his inclusion in the final squad. Rohit Sharma and co will be banking on their quick to make a return to get themselves in contention for yet another ICC title.
The BCCI have to submit their final 15-man squad on February 11 (Tuesday) and it is yet to be confirmed whether the pace spearhead will make the trip to Dubai or whether he will be cleared to take part in the returning ICC event.
Uncertainty regarding Bumrah’s availability brings forward another concern as to who will replace the star pacer in the squad as well. In the ongoing ODI series against England, Harshit Rana has partnered Mohammed Shami in the fast-bowling unit along with Hardik Pandya. But it is yet to be confirmed whether the pacer will get the nod to take part in his first ICC tournament.
