Team India has reportedly made a surprise addition to their Test squad after veteran Ravichandran Ashwin called it quits after the Brisbane Test. Ahead of the fourth fixture of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Mumbai’s spin-bowling all-rounder is set to join the squad Down Under.

According to Sportstar, Kotian has received his maiden call-up to join the India squad in Melbourne and will leave for Australia on Tuesday. When he received the call-up, the off-spinner was in Ahmedabad, playing Vijay Hazare Trophy for Mumbai.
