The two-week long tour will see India play six white-ball matches in Mirpur and Chattogram.

The Indian men’s cricket team will be in Bangladesh later this year for a white-ball tour comprising three ODIs and as many T20Is. The tour will get underway from August 17 with the ODI series.
The BCCI on Tuesday confirmed the schedule with the first two ODIs to be played in Mirpur on August 17 and August 20 with the third to be held in Chattogram on August 23.
A two-day break will lead into the T20I series from August 26 in Chattogram with the remaining two in Mirpur on August 29th and 31st. The T20I bilateral series will the first such between the two teams to be held in Bangladesh.
“This series promises to be one of the most exciting and most anticipated events in our home calendar,” Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Chief Executive Officer Nizam Uddin Chowdhury said. “India have set the benchmark in international cricket across all formats and the cricket-loving millions in both countries are sure to enjoy this contest.”
“Bangladesh and India have played some very competitive matches in recent years, and I am confident that this will be another hard-fought and entertaining series,” he added.
India have won 33 of the 42 ODIs they have played against Bangladesh so far while losing eight while one producing no result. Of these, 25 have been held in Bangladesh with India winning 18 while the host six and one producing no result.
Their last ODI meeting was at the Champions Trophy in Dubai with India winning the contest by six wickets. The Rohit Sharma-led side went on to win the tournament.
India also have a dominant record in T20Is against Bangladesh winning 16 of the 17 contests against their neighbours while losing once.
Currently, Indian players are involved in the IPL for various franchises. The season ends on May 25 with Indian team’s next international assignment being the five-match Test tour of England in June this year.
