IND vs AUS Adelaide Weather Prediction: India and Australia will go head-to-head in a pink-ball Test from Friday in Adelaide. The two teams last time clashed in a five-day fixture under the floodlights during the 2020-21 Border Gavaskar Trophy. Australia won that contest by eight wickets after a Virat Kohli-led India faced a batting collapse in the second innings and were all out for just 36 runs. This time, the visitors will be keen to turn the tables under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. India are leading the ongoing series after a dominant victory in the series opener in Perth. With Jasprit Bumrah – the stand-in captain – claiming an eight-wicket haul in the match, India won the first Test by 295 runs.

India are set to tweak their playing eleven that featured in the previous game. Rohit Sharma has joined the squad after missing the Perth fixture. He is expected to open the innings alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal. KL Rahul, Jaiswal’s opening partner in the first match, may bat down in the order.

The management may also try Shubman Gill at the no. 3 position before Virat Kohli. The Indian bowling unit is most likely to remain unchanged. The pace attack will have Harshit Rana and Mohammed Siraj, alongside Bumrah, while Washington Sundar can play as a lone spinner. Nitish Kumar Reddy, who was handed a debut with Rana in the first Test, is another bowling option for Rohit Sharma. The are speculations over R Ashwin’s possible inclusion.

India vs Australia 2nd Test Weather Forecast

The weather, however, may remain partly cloudy over the five days (from December 6 to December 10), with a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature dropping to as low as 13 degrees Celsius.
