India vs Australia Live Score, 5th Test Day 3 (India National Cricket Team vs Australia National Cricket Team, Border-Gavaskar Trophy): Hello and welcome to our coverage of the third day’s play for the fifth Test between India and Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series clash taking place at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Pat Cummins (3/44) and Scott Boland (6/45) picked up two wickets each on Sunday morning to bring an end to India’s second innings in less than an hour after Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar resumed the day’s play at 142 for 6.

Jadeja was the first to return back to the pavilion. He handed a simple catch to Alex Carey in the third over of the third day, and then Cummins completed his 200th dismissal in WTC by breaching Sundar’s defence.

Boland, who has impressed with his performances in the three matches, wrapped up India’s innings by dismissing Mohammed Siraj (4) and Jasprit Bumrah (0) in one over itself.

India could only manage to score 157 runs in the 2nd innings and set a target of 162 runs for Australia to chase down in the 4th innings and win the match.

According to Accuweather, expect sunny skies for most of the day’s play and hardly any chance of interruptions. This means that a possible result could be on the cards on the third day’s play.
