Accuweather.com forecasts ‘cloudy with a thunderstorm in parts of the area’ for Wednesday afternoon in Bengaluru. With 100% cloud cover and 80% humidity, the probability of precipitation is 41%.
While the chances of rain are expected to diminish by Wednesday evening, the conditions remain far from ideal for cricket. Dense cloud cover and 91% humidity will persist, with temperatures hovering around 20 degrees Celsius.
Adding to the concerns, the city has been experiencing heavy rainfall, prompting the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue an ‘orange alert’. In response, the Karnataka government has declared a holiday for schools on Wednesday, while several tech companies have advised employees to work from home.
