India vs New Zealand 1st Test Day 3 Live Score and Updates: Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Day 3 of the enthralling 1st Test between India and New Zealand, taking place at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru!

India will be fighting hard to chip away at the dominant NZ batting order after their abysmal outing with the bat in the first innings.

Devon Conway’s spectacular 91, and a steady stand from Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell ensured that NZ eased to a comfortable 134-run lead at the end of Day 2.

Matt Henry and Will O’Rourke wreaked havoc as India were bowled out for a mere 46 runs in their first innings in Bengaluru. Henry took a five-wicket haul while O’Rourke took four to condemn India to their lowest Test innings total in a home Test.

Earlier yesterday, Rohit opted to bat first against New Zealand. The hosts made a couple of changes to their playing XI from the last Test. Shubman Gill isn’t 100 per cent fit and therefore misses out. Gill has been replaced by Sarfaraz Khan. Also missing out his fast bowler Akash Deep as India bring in another spinner in Kuldeep Yadav.
