India Women vs Australia Women 2nd ODI live streaming: The Indian women’s cricket team suffered a five-wicket defeat to Australia in the first ODI of their three-match series earlier this week. Batting first, India were bowled out for 100 with Megan Schutt taking five wickets. Kim Garth, Ashleigh Gardner, Annabel Sutherland and Alana King bagged one wicket each.
During the run chase, Australia lost five wickets and scored the winning runs with 202 balls to spare. Australia’s opening pair of Phoebe Litchfield and Georgia Voll stitched a solid partnership in a positive start.
While Voll remained unbeaten on 46, Litchfield was dismissed for 35.
Voll struck six fours and a six during her innings.
For India, Renuka Singh picked up three wickets but it was not enough for the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side.
India will now be aiming for a win to stay alive in the ODI series. They need to put up a vastly improved show with the bat. The second ODI between India Women and Australia Women is scheduled to be played on Sunday at the Allan Border Field in Brisbane.
