The Indian men’s cricket team, which sits at the No. 1 position in the ICC ODI rankings, will not travel to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 due to tense political relations between the two countries and will instead play all its matches in Dubai. India will open its campaign in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on Thursday, February 20, against Bangladesh and then take on Pakistan in the high-voltage match on Sunday, February 23. In the third and final Group A match, India will be up against New Zealand on March 2. If the Indian team manages to finish in the top two and qualify for the knockouts, then it will play its semifinal match in Dubai on March 4, and the final will also take place in Dubai if India qualifies for a third straight Champions Trophy final.
