Young Afghan spinner Allah Ghazanfar was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 4.80 crore at the IPL 2025 auction.
Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar was bought for Rs. 4.8 crore by Mumbai Indians at the IPL mega auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Monday. His valuation rose after a duel with Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers bengaluru from a base price of Rs 75 lakh.
The young afghan has IPL experience after being drafted in by KKR as an injury replacement for compatriot Mujeeb ur Rahman and was part of their title-winning squad in 2024, albeit he mostly warmed the bench.
Who is Allah Ghazanfar?
The 6’2 finger-spinner is capable of turning his deliveries both ways, and he used his skill to dismantle the Bangladesh batting lineup with six wickets.
