Is there a Right To Match (RTM) option?
Yes. A franchise is given a chance to match the winning bid of its rival for the player it released before the auction. However, this time there’s a slight twist. The team that placed the winning bid will be given one last chance to raise the stakes further. And then it will be up to the team using RTM to decide whether they want to match the new bid or not.
