Most Runs in IPL 2025 (Orange Cap Standings): There was no denying Ishan Kishan today, as the young Indian batter hammered his maiden IPL century, putting up a blazing 106* for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), powering himself to the top of the IPL 2025 Orange Cap standings on Sunday.

Kishan came out to bat at No. 3 for SRH in the first match of the 2025 season and added 85 runs for the second with Travis Head (67 runs from 31 balls) and 72 runs for the third wicket with Nitish Kumar Reddy (30 runs from 15 balls).

The 26-year-old lit the Hyderbad skies on fire with his unbeaten 106* in 47 balls, peppered with 11 fours and 6 sixes, as he powered his side to a dominant 44-run win over Rajasthan Royals (RR), who fought back hard with Dhruv Jurel’s 70 and Sanju Samson’s 66 that went in vain.

Later on in the evening, it was all yellow as NZ batter Rachin Ravindra shone the brightest, notching an unbeaten 65* to help Chennai Super Kings (CSK) down their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians (MI) in a four-wicket victory at Chepauk.

Aided by CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad, who made light work of the MI bowlers himself to put up a quickfire 53, the Chennai side secured the win in the final over with a thumping six from Ravindra.
