Gujarat Titans fast bowler Prasidh Krishna dismissed four Delhi Capitals batters for 41 runs in his quota of four overs on Saturday (April 19) to take his tally of wickets to 14 in seven IPL 2025 matches played so far. His figures of 4/41 in the match currently underway at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad helped him leapfrog Chennai Super Kings spinner Noor Ahmad and lead the IPL 2025 Purple Cap race.
Noor has played seven matches for CSK so far and has dismissed 12 batters. RCB’s fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has also accounted for the dismissal of 12 batters in seven matches played so far this season.

Prasidh’s first four-fer of the ongoing season helped GT restrict Delhi Capitals to 203 for 8 in 20 overs. For the Shubman Gill-led side, apart from Krishna, Mohammed Siraj, Arshad Khan, Ishant Sharma and R Sai Kishore also picked up one wicket each.
Krishna opened his wicket account by trapping KL Rahul (28) in front of the wickets on the fourth ball of the fifth over. He then got rid of Karun Nair (31) on the second ball of the ninth over and then dismissed Axar Patel (39) and Vipraj Nigam (0) on the first two balls of his last over of the match.
