Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Rajasthan Royals, IPL 2025:

It’s time for Rajat Patidar and co. to lace up their boots yet again, as the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take on the Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday (April 24).

RCB are coming off an up-and-down streak of games, having won three and lost two in the previous five games, as they sit at third place in the IPL 2025 points table with 10 points. RR, on the other hand, have been struggling to find any success lately, having lost their last four games on the trot, languishing in an abysmal eighth in the table with just 4 points.

RCB vs RR Match: Bengaluru Weather Forecast

It promises to be a cool, breezy evening at the Chinnaswamy tomorrow with temperatures flaring up to as high as 36 degrees Celsius in the mornings/afternoon, to a mere 22 degrees Celsius in the night, with very little chance for rain.

Recent history also doesn’t favour the Royals, who were dominated by the Royal Challengers in their match-up earlier this season, where RCB registered a commanding nine-wicket win over them, thanks to Phil Salt’s explosive 65 off 33 and Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 62 off 45.

RCB vs RR: Players to watch

Virat Kohli: The talisman batter seems to be going strong even in Year 18, as the RCB stalwart continues to muster up the runs (especially fifties) at ease, having notched 322 runs in 8 matches this season, at an average of 64.40 with a 140.00 strike rate.

Yashasvi Jaiswal: The young Indian opener has also picked up his slack (despite the rest of his team seemingly failing to do so on their front) and has been the rock of their batting order, registering a smooth 307 runs in 8 matches this season, at an average of 38.88 with a 139.54 strike rate.
