IPL 2025 Points Table, Orange Cap and Purple Cap after RCB vs RR: Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Rajasthan Royals by 11 runs in the IPL 2025 match played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday, April 25. The Bengaluru-based franchise, after being invited to bat first in front of home fans, first posted a total of 205 runs on the board for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs and then restricted RR to 194 for 9.
For RCB, Josh Hazlewood picked up four wickets, and two RR batters were sent back to the pavilion by Krunal Pandya.
The win over Royals helped RCB retake third position in the IPL 2025 points table, and they now have 12 points from nine matches played so far. On the other hand, Royals have now remain at eighth position with just four points after nine matches.

Orange Cap
Virat Kohli opened the innings for RCB on Thursday and with the help of 8 fours and 2 sixes, scored 70 runs from 42 balls. His fifth half-century of the ongoing season helped him extend his tally of runs to 392 in nine matches, and he now is only behind GT opener Sai Sudharsan in the list of leading run getters. The left-handed batter from Tamil Nadu has hammered 417 runs in eight matches for the Shubman Gill-led side this season.
Apart from Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal also scored a second fifty in a row for the Bengaluru-based franchise, and he now has 230 runs to his name in eight matches.
In the 206-run chase, Jaiswal helped RR get off to a flying start. The left-handed batter hammered 49 runs from just 19 balls with the help of 7 fours and 3 sixes. With a total of 356 runs to his name in nine matches, Jaiswal is sixth in the Orange Cap race.

Purple Cap
Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood is playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL 2025, and he closed the gap with Prasidh Krishna at the top of the Purple Cap leaderboard on Thursday by taking four wickets against Rajasthan Royals. With 16 wickets to his name in nine matches played so far this season, Hazlewood is now second on the list of leading wicket-takers in IPL 2025.
His RCB teammate Krunal Pandya also managed to get rid of two RR batters at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, and with 12 wickets to his name in nine matches, Krunal is 7th on the Purple Cap leaderboard.
