Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have retained Heinrich Klaasen, Pat Cummins, Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, and Nitish Kumar Reddy ahead of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auctions.
They have kept hold of as many as three overseas players and two Indian youngsters who played a big role in the team’s super show in 2024.

SRH’s Costliest Player in Retention List: Heinrich Klaasen is SRH’s top retention and will get INR 23 crore. The South African wicketkeeper-batter joined SRH for Rs 5.25 crore in the IPL 2023 auction. In his first season, he amassed a total of 448 runs in 12 matches for the Orange Army, and in the 2024 edition, he scored 479 runs in 16 matches. The 33-year-old right-handed batter is one of the most dangerous white-ball batters of present times and has won many matches single-handedly for the Hyderabad-based franchise.
