IPL 2025 Points Table, Orange Cap and Purple Cap after SRH vs MI: Mumbai Indians (MI) thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by seven wickets to register their fourth consecutive win in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Rohit Sharma scored his second successive half-century and shared a 53-run partnership with Suryakumar Yadav as MI chased down SRH’s below-par total of 143/8, built on the efforts of Heinrich Klaasen efforts (71 off 44 balls) and his 99-run stand with Abhinav Manohar (43 off 37 balls).
Earlier, pacers Deepak Chahar and Trent Boult led an impressive bowling show as Mumbai Indians restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad. Chahar (2/12) and Boult (4/26) rattled SRH in their opening spells as Pat Cummins’ side were reduced to 13 for 4 in the fifth over before Heinrich Klaasen pulled things back a bit with his classy half-ton.
With the win, Mumbai Indians climbed up to third in the IPL points table as Sunrisers Hyderabad stayed down in ninth.

Orange Cap
Suryakumar Yadav smashed an unbeaten 19-ball 40, with the help of five fours and two sixes, to move up to third in the top run-scorers list.
Rohit Sharma scored 70 from 46 balls and is compiling his runs after a string of failures at the start of the tournament. He also became the second Indian batter to score 12000 runs in T20 cricket.
For SRH, Heinrich Klaasen hit a measured 71, and Abhinav Manohar hit 43 runs.

Hardik Pandya picked up the wicket of Aniket Verma to take his tally for the season to 12, moving up the ladder for the most wicket-takers list. The MI skipper moved up two spots to seventh.
