IPL Auction 2025 Live Full List of Sold Players: The IPL mega auction is in full swing, with 84 players set to go under the hammer today. The event is being hosted at Jeddah’s Abadi Al Johar Arena and spans two days. A stellar lineup of cricket stars, including Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jos Buttler, David Warner, Mitchell Starc, and Kagiso Rabada, is part of the auction pool. In total, 577 players have been shortlisted for this grand event.
Ahead of the auction, franchises were allowed to retain a maximum of six players from their squads from the previous season, with the remaining players released back into the pool. The retention numbers varied, with teams like Punjab Kings retaining two players, while Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals held onto six. This year, there are 204 slots available, including 70 for overseas players. Out of the 577 players listed for the auction, 367 are Indian and 210 are from overseas.
