Ireland vs South Africa 1st T20I Live Score: South Africa captain Aiden Markam won the toss and opted to bowl first against Ireland in the series opener at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Friday. The two teams are squaring off in a two-match T20I series while will be followed by three ODIs.

Ireland captain Paul Stirling revealed that the players underwent sauna sessions to get used to the heat in Abu Dhabi,

“We’ve had a number of sessions in the sauna and steam room to try and adjust to it before we came out here, but nothing is quite like getting here in person. You do naturally get used to it,” he said prior to the start of the series.
