Two major ICC events (Champions Trophy & WTC final) and multiple bilateral series across formats between all the 12 Test-playing nations will headline the men’s cricket calendar in 2025.

All 12 Test-playing nations will take part in multiple matches and series across formats in 2025 and play at least one red-ball match each. The ICC Champions Trophy, which was last played in June 2017, will make a comeback in 2025 after eight long years, and also the final of the third edition of the World Test Championship is scheduled to take place this year, finally at Lord’s. In addition to the two major ICC events in the men’s circuit, the Asia Cup and Ashes will be the highlights of men’s cricket in 2025.

Here’s a look at the men’s cricket calendar of 2025:

January

  • New Zealand vs Sri Lanka: 3rd T20I (January 2)
  • New Zealand vs Sri Lanka: 3-match ODI series (January 5-11)
  • Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan: 2nd Test in Bulawayo (January 2-6)
  • Border-Gavaskar Trophy, India vs Australia: 5th Test at Sydney Cricket Ground (January 3-7)
  • South Africa vs Pakistan: 2nd Test at Newlands, Cape Town (January 3-7)
  • Pakistan vs West Indies: 2-match Test series (January 16-28)
  • India vs England: 5-match T20I series (January 22-February 2)
  • Sri Lanka vs Australia: 2-match Test series (January 29-February 10)

February

  • India vs England: 3-match ODI series (February 6-10)
  • Pakistan, South Africa, and New Zealand tri-series (February 8-14)
  • ICC Champions Trophy (February 19-March 9)

March

  • New Zealand vs Pakistan: 5 T20Is & 3 ODIs (March 16-April 5)

May

  • England vs Zimbabwe: 1 Test (May 21-25)
  • England vs West Indies: 3-match ODI series (May 29-June 3)
