Bengal Ranji coach and former India cricketer Laxmi Ratan Shukla said that premium pacer Mohammed Shami looks fit enough to be drafted into the national side for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy series slated to begin on November 11 in Perth.
Shami, who made his comeback to competitive cricket through a Ranji match for Bengal against Madhya Pradesh, scalped four wickets on day 2 after going wicket-less in 10 overs on the opening day.
