For the few moments, Mohammed Siraj created a massive world record on Day 1 of IND vs AUS, 2nd Test. He broke the record of the fastest ball in cricket history. Speedometer showed the ball was bowled at a speed of 181.6 kilometers per hour in Adelaide. Fans were surprised to see the speed of the ball bowled by Siraj on speedometer. As per speedometer, Siraj broke the record of former Pakistan bowler Shoaib Akhtar, who bowled at a speed of 161.3 kilometers per hour during the 2003 World Cup. Later, it came out as a technical glitch which was immediately rectified by the broadcaster.
