MS Dhoni’s wife has shared a selfie in which the legendary cricketer can be seen pouting for the camera.

MS Dhoni is a fiercely private person who rarely makes public appearances. Even his social media accounts remain dormant for significant periods. A latest Instagram post of his wife Sakshi Dhoni has given a glimpse of what the legendary skipper has been doing during his time away from cricket.
The couple recently attended a private concert of music composer duo Salim and Sulaiman in Meerut. Sakshi shared some glimpses of the gala night on social media and one of those pictures garnered significant traction from “Thala” fans.
The World Cup-winning captain was captured doing the trendy pout in a selfie with Sakshi.
For his concert outfit, Dhoni picked out a minimal, black kurta featuring subtle textured patterns. Sakshi, on the other hand, looked pretty in an ethnic black ensemble decorated with golden embroidery.
Dhoni’s former teammate and ex-India fast-bowler RP Singh was also part of the musical extravaganza. He attended the glittery event with his wife Devanshi Singh.
Once the pictures surfaced on the internet, fans flocked to the comment section to share their thoughts on Dhoni’s pout selfie.
One of them asked, “Did Mahi really pout? Oh god, only Sakshi can make him real Pookie.”
Another fan declared it the “best selfie of the year.” An individual labelled Dhoni as “Pookie Thala.”
Meanwhile, Salim and Sulaiman were delighted to perform in front of Dhoni. The music composers, famous for popular Bollywood hits like Chak De India and Ali Maula, seized the opportunity and clicked a picture with Dhoni after the concert.
Salim-Sulaiman shared the pictures on Instagram with a caption– “What do I say – Dhoni, you made Chak De! one of the most special milestones for us by lifting that trophy and bringing it home! What a memorable time spent last night.”
Dhoni will be next seen in action during IPL 2025 after being retained by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 4 crore.
