MS Dhoni had a special gift for his family and friends on the grand occasion of Christmas as he decided to dress up as a Santa Claus. In a post shared by his wife Sakshi Dhoni on Instagram, the legendary India skipper can be seen disguised as wearing a Santa costume. Dhoni and his family members dressed according to the Christmas theme- red and white. In the post, shared by Sakshi, Dhoni can be seen standing next to his daughter Ziva and wife. In the post, the trio can be seen posing by a Christmas tree. In another picture, the five-time Indian Premier League (IPL)-winning captain can be seen tightly hugging his daughter. Sharing the photos, Sakshi wrote on Instagram, “Christmas” along with a red-heart emoji.
In another big surprise for her fans, actor Kriti Sanon was seen posing with MS Dhoni. The Bollywood actor shared sneak peeks of her Christmas celebrations with her rumoured boyfriend Kabir Bahia and his family.
Recently, MS Dhoni took the internet by storm as he was captured dancing to a folk song along with his wife and some friends. In the video, which is claimed to be from a wedding ceremony in Rishikesh, Dhoni was joined by some local folk artists as grooved to the beats of the popular pahadi song– Gulabi Shahara. The former World Cup-winning skipper cheerfully matched the steps along with his fellow dancers.

Having announced his retirement from international cricket in 2020, MS Dhoni is currently plying his trade for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. Dhoni is once again expected to return to competitive cricket in the upcoming edition of the IPL.
The IPL Governing Council reinstated a rule this time allowing franchises to consider a player as uncapped if he has not represented India in over five years. This helped the Chennai Super Kings in retaining MS Dhoni, for Rs 4 crore, along with cricketers like Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja and Matheesha Pathirana.
MS Dhoni handed the Chennai Super Kings’ captaincy duties to Ruturaj Gaikwad ahead of the commencement of the IPL 2024 season. Dhoni left leadership as one of the most successful captains in the history of the IPL, having guided the Chennai Super Kings to five titles – 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021 and 2023.
