India began their tour of Australia in stunning fashion as they upset the status quo with a 295-run win against the Aussies at Perth in the opening Test of the five-match series.

India were bundled out for 150 runs in the first innings before the tourists hit back with an incredible bowling performance led by pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, who limited the Aussies to 104 runs.
The Indian batters went on to add 487 runs in the second innings for the loss of six wickets before declaring their innings to set Australia a mammoth total to chase. The visitors wrapped up the first Test in style as they bundled out the hosts for 238 runs to clinch a statement victory.
The second Test of the series is scheduled to be played at the Adelaide and will get underway on the 6th of December.
