The Indian Premier League 2025 has witnessed a surge in new talent, with several franchises boasting stars of the future in the ongoing tournament. Several uncapped players have delivered impactful performances for their respective franchises, and it remains to be seen if they can continue to establish themselves as big-name stars soon.

Let us take a look at the six most impressive uncapped stars in IPL 2025:

Priyansh Arya (Punjab Kings)

The 23-year-old opening batter from Delhi has been fairly impressive for the Punjab Kings. The side, despite having a reputable international opening batter in Josh Inglis, opted to give Arya a go at the top. His talent was visible, especially during his blistering knock against the Chennai Super Kings, where he scored 103 in just 42 balls laced with seven boundaries and nine maximums. He may not be as consistent as expected, but there is certainly potential in the young star to be a big star in the near future if he can up his game.

Digvesh Rathi (Lucknow Super Giants)

The 25-year-old leg-break bowler from Delhi has been a find for the Lucknow Super Giants who many considered to be thin in their bowling strength. But with his consistent ability to take wickets, he has made himself an indispensable part of the Lucknow bowling unit. But he will look to take his wicket-taking abilities even further if he is to be amongst the top bowlers in the Indian Premier League. Whilst he has been able to take wickets consistently, he has not had that breakout performance to really put him amongst the best bowlers in the tournament

Vipraj Nigam (Delhi Capitals)

The all-rounder had a memorable start to his IPL career, having scored 39 runs and taken one wicket for the Delhi Capitals. Since then, he has gone on to establish himself as a solid wicket-taking option and a handy batter to have in the middle-order as well. He has a solid, quicker ball which can deceive even the best of batters and could be a talent to watch out for in the near future.

Ashwani Kumar (Mumbai Indians)

Aniket Verma (Sunrisers Hyderabad)

The 23-year-old batter from Uttar Pradesh struggled in his first few games but had a valiant display against Delhi Capitals, where he was the shining light in the middle-order. He single-handedly was able to take SRH to a defendable score. He will want to consistently score the big runs to show that he does have a future in the tournament. But his stocks will be on the up considering his talent with the bat.

Vignesh Puthur (Mumbai Indians)

The 24-year-old left-arm wrist-spinner from Kerala came in and delivered on his first game, taking three wickets against the arch-rivals, Chennai Super Kings. Since then, he has been a regular wicket-taker when called upon, but did not get much of a chance, playing only four games in the season. Nonetheless, there is a quality bowler in him, and it remains to be seen if he can continue improving himself in the future.

Two honourable mentions include the young batting stars, Vaibhav Suryavanshi for the Rajasthan Royals and Ayush Mhatre for the Chennai Super Kings. These young stars have shown an uncanny ability to find the boundary ropes and are certain to build themselves up for the future.
