With Chennai needing 10 runs to win in the last two balls of regulations, the veteran all-rounder pulled off the unthinkable. He smashed a six and a four to seal MS Dhoni’s side a record-tying fifth IPL title.
Most Runs Scored in One IPL Over
Ravindra Jadeja was a different beast against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2021. He scored 36 runs against Harshal Patel in a seven-ball over to tie the record for the most runs scored in a single over – 37 – in the IPL. His knock in the Chennai shirt included five sixes and one boundary.

IPL 2012 Mega Auction’s Most Expensive Player
Ravindra Jadeja joined CSK in 2012. The MS Dhoni-led side signed Jadeja for approximately Rs 9.8 crore, making him the most expensive player that year.
100 IPL Catches

In 2021, Ravindra Jadeja took the Wankhede Stadium by storm with a 28-ball 62 against RCB. He smashed four boundaries and five sixes which led CSK to a dominant 69-run victory.
